The Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal was established to provide financial assistance to victims of an act of violence committed in Victoria.  We can assist you through the victims of crime process, and advise you of your entitlements. 

These may include a lump sum payment known as Special Financial Assistance, loss of earnings and payment of medical and/or psychological expenses. The Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal is responsible for payment of legal fees, not you.
